The Institute of Molecular Science (ICMol) at the University of Valencia is organizing the first "Early Career Symposium on Advanced Molecular Materials (ECSAMM)", which will take place on March 27 and 28, 2025, in the auditorium of the Cabecera building at the Parc Científic.

This scientific event, with free registration, is designed for master’s students, PhD candidates, and postdoctoral researchers to present their research carried out at ICMol. The aim is to foster internal collaboration and contribute to more effective scientific progress.

The two-day symposium will feature two poster sessions and at least 20 talks of 5, 20, and 30 minutes, providing young researchers with the opportunity to showcase their work and highlight the diversity of research groups within the institute. The scientific program, aligned with ICMol’s core research areas, will cover the following topics:

Advances in Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs)

2D Materials

Molecular Spin Science and Technology

Materials and Processes for Electronics

Molecular Biomaterials: Structure, Organization, and Function

Materials for Energy Applications

Sustainability and Environment

To encourage interaction and networking, coffee breaks will be held at the end of each day, accompanied by poster exhibitions. These activities will provide a relaxed environment for idea exchange and building scientific collaborations.

This symposium is a student-led initiative driven by early-career researchers at ICMol, aimed at fostering scientific collaboration and increasing the visibility of ongoing research within the institute.
